The “Schaffelbecken”
In Austrian, the ‘Schaffel’ is the name for a large container that was once used not only for washing clothes but also for bathing. Over the course of time, the elegant Schaffel basin has evolved from the original oak Schaffel: an important haven of peace for visitors to our Schaffelbad.
Heat Basin
Warm thermal water has numerous positive effects on body and mind: it dilates the blood vessels and stimulates circulation, it supports the metabolism and relaxes the muscles. Beneficial effects that not only have an impact on the body, but also on the mind. Effects that you can utilise in the hot tub.
Atrium
In the Roman Empire, the atrium, a room in the centre of the house, served as a lounge for the family. All the surrounding rooms could be reached from here. In the Schaffelbad, the large outdoor pool takes on this role as a meeting place and centre. Underwater music and whale songs accompany you into a timeless world in the indoor atrium pool. Let your mind wander and feel the beneficial effects of the thermal water.
