In order to reduce the amount of waste, we not only carefully separate waste internally, but also ask our guests for their help.

Together, we focus on recycling and manage to reduce our ecological footprint.

We source the majority of our food from the region and deliberately use organic produce. In this way, we not only support local farmers and producers, but also guarantee fresh, high-quality ingredients for our cuisine. This strengthens the region and at the same time reduces long transport routes and the associated CO₂ emissions.

We use environmentally friendly cleaning agents for cleaning our rooms and public areas, most of which are biodegradable.

We also use microfibre cloths, which require less cleaning agent and thus reduce the consumption of chemicals.

In order to use water efficiently, we have installed flow restrictors on shower heads and taps in all guest rooms. This allows us to save up to 13 litres of water per minute and at the same time reduce the energy required to heat water. This not only saves valuable resources, but also reduces the cost of water treatment.

In our guest rooms, you will only find organic soaps and shampoos in refillable dispensers. In this way, we avoid unnecessary plastic packaging and disposable items that would otherwise be produced in large quantities.

We want to give our guests the opportunity to actively contribute to the conservation of resources. That's why we only change bed linen and towels at the express request of our guests during their stay. This saves energy, water and cleaning agents.

Our stationery is chlorine-free and we use climate-neutral processes for all printing and copying. We only buy office paper with an eco-label and also take care to make environmentally friendly decisions in the administrative areas of our hotel. For example, we try to avoid using advertising material as far as possible and if we do, we also pay attention to small quantities.

Our hotel linen, from bed linen and towelling to cloth napkins, has been awarded the Oeko-Tex label. This certification stands for high ecological standards and guarantees that our textiles are free from harmful substances.

Our table linen is cleaned externally and is 70% more environmentally friendly than in a private household. In this way, we also help to save water and energy in this area while maintaining high standards of hygiene.

For our guests with electric cars, we have installed two type 2 electric charging stations in our car park. Here you can charge your vehicle in a convenient and environmentally friendly way while you relax with us.

Our website is hosted in an environmentally friendly way using 100% green electricity from renewable energy sources.
